DEEPERS X5 DISCRIMINATION SYSTEM
The new Deepers X5 (2011 model) is equipped with a system which allow to choose the ideal frequency (between 500 different frequencies) depending on the terrain explored and the depth to achieve. This detector can also discriminate and reject important ferrous targets.
The system DISCRI disregard any big target between 16-19 Inches of depth, right where we found large quantities of scrap and crappy rubbish (bowls, bottles, cans, farming utensils, horseshoes, large framing nails, rolls of wire, old chains ...).
So with the system DISCRI and the red light REJECTION would blink when over such a target to reject. Indeed the diode REJECTION dashboard will instantly show you the red and the sound would be cut. If the target found is a gold, silver or bronze coins, or even jewelry, or if it is any other target, even deeper (and therefore can be very interesting to look closely ) regardless the metal, the  Deepers X5 locate accurately by increasing the sound without losing its power and the LED will remain in green REJECTION.
The bottle caps and soda pop tabs can be eliminated at 100% by reducing the sensitivity with the button SENSE. A coin located near or at few inches of this rubbish will be fully detected. It is a guarantee Deepers Detector, the only brand in the world of Pulse Induction detectors to achieve this type of discrimination.
Important note: With the Deepers X5, it is recommended during your research to maintain the search coil from 5 to 10 cm from the ground to avoid disruptions due to the land mineralization or the presence of tiny metal particles. It is also advised to search first in switching on MINI DETECT. If the site allows it, switch on MAXI DETECT to search even more successfully and still deeper. Then we can detect from one or two cm closer the search coil to the ground. To pinpoint precisely a target detected, you would easily stand the coil at the vertical of it, to only obtain a clear sound. Then, you would just have to dig at the position located and extract it.
SETTING THE DISCRI SYSTEM :
It performs the normal setting the level of discrimination by setting the knob on the red point DISCRI. For more discrimination you turn this knob to the left until the LED turns red REJECTION, to then come back slightly to the right, to find again the green LED REJECTION. In this position you will get a maximum discrimination.
The discrimination system of Deepers X5 is highly reliable, simple and efficient, which can be set as you wish so, depending on the target sizes that you want to exclude without absolutely losing any power for deep detection (Deepers Patent).
